It’s taken a while for things to feel safe enough to consider opening but we think we’ve worked out a way of moving forward. We will re-open the taproom for reduced hours and with a reduced menu from Friday 24th July.

We will be open from 3-9pm on Fridays and Saturdays and have seven inside tables which can only be booked in advance in two-hour slots. These bookings can be made via our online shop and will go live at 1pm on Thursday 23rd July. We also have some outside tables which will not require booking in advance but, as these tables are not covered, you’ll need to take pot luck with the weather.

Online bookings will require a non-returnable deposit of £10 which will be deducted from your bill. In order to guarantee your table reservation, you must arrive within 15 minutes of your booking time. If you’ve had a problem and are running late email us on tomstapandbrew@gmail.com or text on 07814 724064 and we’ll do what we can.

Please do not visit us if you are feeling unwell, please also do not visit us if you are not comfortable with us sharing contact details with NHS Track and Trace. These details will be destroyed after 21 days in accordance with government advice.

Upon your arrival, a member of staff will confirm your details, ask you to sanitise your hands, show you to your table and take your drinks order. Drinks will be brought to you on a tray. Our staff will circulate the area regularly to check whether you require further refreshment. Please do not approach the bar even to return empty glasses.

Please vacate your table five minutes before the end of your slot so that we can clean in preparation for following guests. In the event that your table isn’t booked for the following slot and there are no groups in the waiting area, you are welcome to stay beyond your booking.

Please be aware that we are only able to take card payments at this time.

Children are welcome but need to remain seated / with you during your visit. Dogs are also welcome but for outside tables only and must remain on a lead.

Toilets. We have two toilets on site, these will be managed to maximise social distancing.

Take outs and deliveries: Please be aware that we will also be operating our takeaway and delivery services from the same site. If you’d like to take beer or cider home with you, please let our staff know in plenty of time to pour them for you.

Bear with us, like most of the things which have happened in the last few months we’re very much learning on the job but we very much expect that you’ll have a great time.
