Back in what seems the mists of time when I was working at Pig and Porter we produced a series of cocktail inspired beers starting with the Mango Daiquiri IPA. We knew this was a good beer and start of a series so we decided on a nationwide launch for it.

All you had to do was have a free line to put the beer on at a specific time, be relatively active on your social media and, pay your invoice on time. It worked really well, so well in fact, that at one particular pub which was full at 6.55pm but not one member of bar staff was serving and chaos ensued at 7.01pm when everyone ordered a pint and the bar staff were all queuing for the same tap.

So, we’re doing it again but this time with Chad’s second sour offering. A Mango and Passionfruit Imperial Sour (8.9% ABV) which he’s called “Chad To The Future”.

If you’d like to drink it on launch night, it will be pouring at the following bars from 7pm on Friday 20th May.

We’ve got a few kegs left if you’re a bar that wants to join in but you’ll need to be quick as we will need to dispatch the kegs by Tuesday to ensure they’re ready to go on for Friday.
