You may have seen that the government has clarified the list of businesses which may remain open. Whilst it is absolutely clear that we can remain open (for takeaways) it does not mean that we should.
We have thought long and hard about what we should do and we have decided that we will not open for collections but will continue to deliver beer on a daily basis in the Crewe, Nantwich and Sandbach areas because we can do this in a safe way by practicing social distancing, wearing PPE and taking payment remotely.
We will ordinarily be delivering between four and six pm each day. If you are a key worker, particularly in the NHS (we think you deserve a pint more than anyone), please contact us via email and we will endeavour to deliver at a mutually convenient time.
Once again, the procedure for placing an order is as follows:
- Please browse the taplist on tomstap.co.uk/on-the-bar.This is updated in real time so you should be able to see what is available.
- Please note the minimum order is 2 x 2 pint containers.
- Please then order via email to [email protected]. Please include your phone number.
- We will contact you to arrange payment and confirm delivery arrangements.
If you have previously used our takeout service and want to return the empties, please rinse out and leave them on the doorstep. We will collect for sanitising and they can then be re-used.
